Black women have been at the forefront of the fight for equality. From the Civil Rights Movement to the issues of gender pay equity and social justice movements aimed at addressing centuries old stigmas, barriers, and systems, FTBUF acknowledges the legacy of Black women in this country and is committed to creating communities and environments that support future generations of black women and girls to live a quality, passion-filled, purpose driven life.
